Protein Bites or Bars
IMO The best way to snack is to eat a protein bite or two. I love these so much. My family loves them in the freezer and I have to say they are delicious right out of the freezer. If you need a high protein dessert or treat, make these. The bites are fast for a quick protein snack or breakfast. The bars are great as a hidden healthy dessert. Ingredients 2 scoops protein powder (I use chocolate) 1 cup peanut butter (I use smooth) Peanut butter powder will work too 1/4 cup chai seeds 1 cup quick Oats (or any kind) 1/4 cup Honey or Maple Syrup 1/4 cup Mini chocolate chips in the balls or melted on top of bars 2 T Water Optional: M & M candies Coconut Flax seed Krispie cereal Directions: Mix all the ingredients together. It will be very dry but it should easily form a ball. I use a cookie dough scoop to scoop mine out and freeze them.
