Baked Brie

 

My brother-in-law loves to cook just as much as I do. Maybe more. He’s fancy and one year for the holiday he made this amazing dish for an appetizer and I fell in love. This is another sit-around-the-kitchen-counter, never-leave-kind of dishes. You eat it till it’s gone. You keep coming back for more. You can’t stop. You make more😆

Pistachio Fig Brie

  • 8 oz Brie
  • 1/2 c chopped pistachios 
  • 1/3 c fig jam
  • 2 T honey

Cook chopped nuts, jam and honey in a sauce pan till it comes together and evens out. Place Brie in baking dish (I used a small cast iron skillet) Pour mixture over salted Brie and bake at 350℉ for 20 minutes.

Serve with pear slices, baguette, or crackers
