Apple Crisp
This is a favorite recipe of my son, Neil. He loves apples and all things fall! This is the season of apples and our birthdays so it makes a great dessert. He chooses this for his birthday dessert each year. Serve it warm and with ice cream. Although Neil would want his apple crisp and his ice cream separate. 😊
Apple 🍎 Crisp
- 2 Cups flour
- 2 Cups brown sugar
- 1.5 Cups oats
- 2 t cinnamon
- 1 Cup melted butter
- 9 or more apples
Peel, cut, core and dice apples. Spread on the bottom of a 9x13 pan or large cast iron skillet. Combine flour, sugar, oats, cinnamon and butter with a fork. Sprinkle on top of apples. Bake 350℉ for 45 minutes.
Serve warm with ice cream.
TIP: Don't put candles in warm apple crisp. 😉
